Tarrio wasn’t in Washington, D.C, when Proud Boys members joined thousands of Trump supporters, who smashed windows, beat police officers and poured into the House and Senate chambers as lawmakers met to certify Biden’s victory.
Of-fucking-course
Probably people who haven’t seen it before and it’s not exactly overshadowed because of how sparse posting is on lemmy compared to reddit.
You’re part of the problem.
I’m curious.
Do you think he’s not supporting Israel in their genocide of Palestinians, or do you believe Israel is not committing genocide?
I would’ve added,
“If money didn’t influence elections, why are people spending so much on them?”
Considering how the Arab world at large never agreed with the terms of Israel’s conquest, this makes sense.
“Oh no, we’re getting paid to do this thing instead of some other thing.”
Part of having a job is working on things that need to be worked on, not because they’re fun.
Yeah, and democracy isn’t perfect.
We’ve seen that from the very beginning of the US.
Ahh yes, the classic “there’s no reason to support good policies because other people do not.”
What a bunch of losers.
Rich people would be getting richer slower and the world would be a better place.
So what’s the point of the rhetorical argument: “the state says it’s not okay to do this, and then they go and do it”?
Woah, now we’re moving goalposts.
I thought the argument was, “the state says it’s not okay to do this, and then they go and do it.”
Changing a project to another game engine is a massive undertaking
That’s the price they pay for not doing things right the first time.
I get migrating a codebase is a motherfucker, and sometimes it is even easier to redevelop much or all of the project.
This is the price they pay for not doing things right the first time.
there are a lot of people who have put a lot of time and money and effort into learning Unity and it’s not exactly as easy as you think to just switch to an entirely new workflow.
Honestly, that’s the price they pay we pay for not doing things right the first time.
I’m not sure why people have convinced themselves that they can just ignore problems and they will go away. Software licensing is an issue that pervades all development. Ignoring it is asinine and will lead you to wasting time and money on bullshit.
When I was picking an engine to learn, I chose Godot. Now I’m not bitching when Unity is dying because I said it was going to die years ago. People just like to ignore problems until they can’t.
when a mob of protesters attacked a Jewish student, and the next day, when a mob trapped a group of Jewish students in a study room
The important part here seems to be left out: did Harvard punish the students responsible for this? I find it hard to believe that they got away with this if they actually did it and we know who they are.
Agreed. They should do it as cheaply and quickly as possible to set an example of how executions don’t need to be expensive.
That said, the common methods for execution used today are surprisingly expensive.
It doesn’t have to be.
Other people do it. They also just work for donations.
On a side note, I recommend sideloading Blokada 5 to permanently block all ads in apps.
You can download it from their website: https://blokada.org/#download (pick blokada 5)
You have to sideload it because Google banned it from their store for being too effective.
