1 year agoIdk mine works without any problems like that. In the Home app, I have Recognize my Voice & Personal Requests turned On. As long as my phone is on the same WiFi network, it works perfectly.

You can try this… Settings > App Store > at the bottom Personalized Recommendations > Clear app usage data. It may help… it may not, but might be worth a try. Maybe after u clear it, do a couple searches for the type of apps you’d rather see
You can try clearing your cache aka browsing history & data
I don’t think so. Personally I would just get the kid their own tablet off Amazon. Can download shows/movies if you have Netflix or Prime video. Or use your phones hot spot.
Apple TV live activities work for me for NBA games, but I’ve seen that NFL games don’t work for some reason

It will be hard to find a case with all three.
