I make small things.
Unapologetically anti-genocide.

@Tooden@aus.social Understatement of the century :)
But the key point is that it’s not just him. Almost half a million British people voted him greatest Briton of all time just two decades ago.
There’s a reason the west has been unabashedly arming a genocide in Palestine for the past year.
@lebout2canap@mastodon.tedomum.net I’m on 46.4 – so they likely removed that.
Is Google implemented in 47?
Ah, this is because Mozilla Location Services is dead (I guess it wasn’t AI enough). And now GNOME are considering Google – because, why not? Nothing wrong with Google, amirite?
@piyuv@techhub.social Indeed.
@piyuv@techhub.social Yep :)
Will likely try to experience the others also. Although… it’s going to be hard given how much you come to care about the characters.
@piyuv@techhub.social Canon :)
@joelving@mastodon.joelving.dk I believe it’s originally a PC game and the PlayStation port is rather recent.
@DodoTheDev @Lokjo @librewolf @Vivaldi Yeah, although I just read that they’re using the manipulative “Maybe later” pattern in at least one of their dialogs so that would be a good thing to fix for the future (I’m using Vivaldi too as my default browser.)
The opposite of “Yes” is “No”, not “Maybe later.”
@Bro666 @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Which would make perfect sense if I had said “Plasma forces you to use Firefox.” Would you like any other straw men to rile against?
@Aaron @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Yes, to non-private defaults. Let’s put it this way: if Firefox’s defaults respected your privacy, Mozilla would go bankrupt tomorrow.
@dajix @kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social It’s deceptive. They know exactly what they’re doing. That’s why they also ask if you haven’t used your browser for a while.
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Guess what, Firefox does the same thing (a refresh will reset your privacy settings and your default browser, all of which affect Mozilla’s revenue streams) but they’re a tad sneakier/cleverer(?) about it.
(Firefox is not private by default so getting you to reset your settings is how they try to influence you to return to their preferred configuration.)
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social Very cool. Here’s hoping to see this in @gnome one day too.
PS. I’m sure you’re aware of it but, just in case, the window positions/dimensions appear to be lost on the restart. (An issue I have on GNOME too whenever it returns from suspend.)
@ln@social.bahamut.dev The US regularly intervenes to ensure Israel has everything it needs to continue its genocide. The US is funding the genocide in Gaza and Israel’s war crimes in the region. And I’m thinking the only country to have ever used nuclear weapons against a civilian population can stomach a lot of carnage so I wouldn’t bet on their hitting the breaks anytime soon.
