Mental health issues should be treated as seriously as physical issues and injuries. If you’re not fit to play, you shouldn’t play. Happy to see Burnley take a positive stance on this.

The Timber injury still breaks my heart to this day. I really feel we’d be in a better position if we had him. He gave us depth across the entire back line.
This. I don’t see how two hands pushing Gabriel down by the back of his neck doesn’t impede him significantly. It’s a total farce.
Don’t believe anything you hear from Sky Sports. They’re little better than TalkSport at this point.
It’s so tough because the whole point of VAR in relation to offsides is to be able to determine if something is offside or it isn’t, which in 99%+ of cases you can see. There are these occasions where something is technically offside, like with a sliver of someone’s boot or a tiny part of their shoulder, but it doesn’t feel like it’s really in the spirit of the rule. In those cases though you can’t say that you’ll allow it because offside is meant to be a black or white decision, and if you let these minuscule infringements go you then need to decide where the line is again.
Spurs have played the teams that are 20th, 19th, 18th, 17th, 14th, 13th, and 11th. They were gifted a win against Liverpool, eeked past a shoddy United side and nicked a point off of us thanks to a Jorginho error.
They’ve done very well and Ange deserves credit, but they’ve had an incredibly kind start to the season with plenty of luck along the way. I think they’ll challenge seriously for top four but I’m not worried about a serious title charge for them just yet. If they come through these next few games at the top of the table then maybe they’re the real real but at the moment it seems like they’re a decent side who are doing better than expected due to kind fixtures and plenty of luck.
Rice getting injured at half-time in the derby absolutely killed that game for us.
David Raya nearly giving me a heart attack at the end there
Liverpool didn’t need to win that many, though. City were majorly off the pace and Liverpool won at a canter.
