Not a huge fan of the song, I’m pro the message but the actual execution was … lacking. I was surprised by how well Morphine did in the challenge, and I think the lip sync for the win format robbed her of a win as much as I am a Sapphira fan. Sapphira and Dawn both looked great on the runway this week.

Q looked absolutely amazinggg this week. Other people were good but imo she was by far the best. I feel bad for Plasma; Dawn was clearly her saboteur. I feel like the spit take mini challenge seemed kind of gross and unsanitary??

Not the best but not the worst snatch game. It seemed like half the gals did well and the other half… not so much. I do think Nymphia should have been in the bottom; she was by far the worst. But I do think it was a little unfair that Ru seemed actively annoyed with her, cutting her off, etc during the game. Also Mhiya was way over praised for storyline reasons (going from quiet to outgoing, taking direction) for what was otherwise a pretty mid performance.

Did not love the musical this week. Not super familiar with the sound of music, but wasn’t it … pretty different?

Loved Sapphira and Q’s runways! Mhiya also looked gorgeous. Flowers is a great runway theme.

Don’t know how to spoiler tag on here, so just gonna say I was surprised at the elimination, I thought that the eliminated queen had won the lip sync.

I felt like most of the looks were … not good this week. The only one I really liked was Q, which turned out quite nice (tho I think the wings didn’t look so good). Bummer that Sapphira couldn’t finish the opera coat, I would have liked to see that.

Also didn’t they say way early on that there was an expiration date on the immunity potion? Whatever happened to that?

I liked the runway this week, special shout out to Xunami for looking extra great! My fave part of this episode was Nymphia going “What sound does a yak make?” and making yak noises.

I know right? Should have made a bigger deal about SMG, she seemed like kind of an afterthought on this ep? But she’s great!

Not sure about Plasma as a whole yet but she really knocked it out of the park this week. I thought Mhiya was funny too. The deck sketch was funny but was nearly identical to the bush trimming one last RDR live in All Stars 8. I’m not sure anything could have made the Lindsey Graham sketch funny, even if Geneva had known who that was. Seeing Plasma get booted from the news anchor role by Dawn’s little clique made me sad :( but at least she excelled at her new thing. Q as a brick… I like the idea and absurdity of the bit, but wasn’t quite landing for me? Sapphira just oozes charisma every time she’s on screen, love her confessionals as well. She’s gotta be my top pick for the season, tho I would be happy to see a Nymphia win as well.

I loved Nymphia running around being a chaos goblin. For me, Nymphia, Sapphira, and Q have solidified themselves as my top 3 picks for the season. Shoutout to Dawn and Plasma for having some good looks this week as well.

Kind of felt like the famous moms category was a bit of a dud, tho I think I’m just against looks that are just a recreation of a celeb look. Also were all of the first category real fairy tales?

I kind of wish they did judging/everything before deciding to use the immunity potion, people aren’t going to want to waste a potion when they aren’t gonna be in the bottom, unless they know they did super bad. Also annoyed they didn’t explain the expiration date thing sooner. I just feel like if this is a game the rules should be clearly explained and let the queens make strategic decisions.

Big fan of Nymphia and I liked Hershii a lot as well and could see her as the narrator of the season. Megami’s drag is great but talent show was the worst. Geneva seems fun, didn’t love the talent but like her personality. I feel like some of the gals from ep 1 were giving me more top 3 energy.

I wonder if the rate a queen thing will persist beyond eps 1 and 2? It seems like they put a lot of time into the graphics for a one off, but I’m not a big fan of the queens judging themselves.

I don’t get this one…?

I took classes at John Campbell Folk School a couple times and would recommend it, it’s a great community. I’d like to try going to the folk school in MN sometime too, I’ve heard good things about their Automata class.
