Shoo! Don’t make me get the broom!
Shoo! Don’t make me get the broom!
Is this what passes for bait these days? Shoo, go on, git. Back to your imageboard.
It’s pretty clear that they meant “a constant factor in our daily lives”, you really don’t need to be this hostile.
They’ll be happy. Like… they really clearly actually want this. Even when their faces get eaten, they’re all enthusiastically for it.
Yeah, don’t think it was a secret by any means but I do think my understanding of bankruptcy proceedings is lacking to the point I have no idea if that will invalidate the sale like InfoWars is claiming in their suit.
Yeah, seems like there was some behind the scenes work so that the onion could buy it, we’ll see if it stands up in the (I assume deeply corrupt…) bankruptcy court. God, I hope it does…
infowars is down, I think its real
There’s a pyramid with hieroglyphics carved onto the side that roughly translate to “This End Up”
Yeah agreed, and that really should have been the headline.
You dare speak the name of the accursed one??
Schools are better used to prepare people for your life, you mean.
This headline seems like there’s a bit of sensationalizing going on - A french weapon system, sold to the UAE, is installed on vehicles the UAE has subsequently sent to sudan.
[Amnesty] says the Rapid Support Forces militia is using vehicles in the Darfur region supplied by the United Arab Emirates that are fitted with French hardware as it battles the army. It says the Rapid Support Forces militia is using vehicles in the Darfur region supplied by the United Arab Emirates that are fitted with French hardware as it battles the army.
“If France cannot guarantee through export controls, including end user certification, that arms will not be re-exported to Sudan, it should not authorise those transfers,” [Amnesty] said.
Clearly they need to get their shit in order, but the french lack of a response seems more understandable given that it does take some amount of time to ex: check twenty years of arms sales for similar export control violations.
I think perhaps it’s lack of utility is more on account of the user than it is on the uses…
God this is so true. I teach compuster science, and I always make a point in one lecture to show the students how many tabs full of basic questions I have to open when grading their assignments. Nobody can memorize all of this, and it’s so important to shake off that feeling of not being good enough just because you have to look something up.
I can’t decide if that’s higher or lower than I expected.
Its a dumb name, but its far from being unequivocally wrong. It’s a windows subsystem, which is used for linux.
Finally, a piece of good news…
They can’t talk to who they’re regulating and he’s going to break up any coherent structure… and that’s good??
People protesting in Seattle or NYC are, rest assured, taking state sanctioned violence into account. SPD/NYPD are a great way to train a culture in how to mitigate absolute bastards.
If I remember right, this wasn’t even illegal. A lot of places in the US still have this ancient (and fucking ridiculous even back when it was new) rule that the sheriff gets to pocket any leftover cash from the prisoner care budget.
Yeah, anyways this is usually the reason behind it whenever you read anything about prisoners being fed roadkill or spoiled food or whatever. Ancient, incredibly brazen corruption.
