Ahh Luc Nillis, fabulous player, I was pleased when he came to England but tragically it was quickly the end of his career. The poor guy nearly lost his leg.

2019? Both teams were so strong! Possibly the best two teams I’ve ever seen in this country.
No worries! Great to reminisce regardless!
Bilbao were brilliant that day, they were unlucky not to win anything that year, losing two finals. the season after was a difficult one after Martinez moved on and the issues with Llorente, then Bielsa going. Real shame!
Oh wow that was a screamer from Chhetri! Does he do that a lot then? Thanks for sharing I enjoyed that video.
Ahh, the Gerrard final! You don’t many games as dramatic as that one, West Ham were so unlucky!
What happened?
I know, I’ve seen some of the biggest teams and the best stadiums in the world, but I always think back to the game I mentioned above.
I’ll check out the highlights of this one! Thanks!
I only have good things to say about Portuguese football, it’s incredible.
Crazy crazy game, that year was just full of miracles. I absolutely lost it too!
Players getting lost in the emotions of a rollercoaster. Those are the best games!
Growing up Paraguay were always there. Chilavert in goal, Roque Santa Cruz leading the line! I remember Nelson Cuevas scoring a belter in 2002.
I’m English and this was one crazy game, one of the great CR7 free kicks. It was just like the one against Portsmouth, but in such a big moment.
Crazy game! I was gutted for Ghana! Did you see any other games in the tournament?
More than one call, the referee’s failure to protect Bukayo Saka against France in the WC QF last year. He ripped Theo Hernandez to shreds, who along with Dayot Upamecano continuously fouled him and got away with it. This included a clear and obvious penalty and several deliberate fouls around the box. One of these fouls led directly to the first French goal.
I’ve seen a lot of England exits in my time, for most of them, I will accept that we just weren’t good enough. This one really got to me.
Jude Bellingham.
