  • That’s just wrong. Americans are desperate for major changes to a system that just isn’t working for us. It works great for the rich and for corporations, but not for the average American.

Democrats have ignored the plight of the average American by only looking at the data that affects corporations and the rich. And that data shows that everything is great. We have one political party that’s so wildly out of touch with reality.

On the other side, we have MAGA Republicans who actually acknowledge the struggles of average Americans. The MAGA Republicans make grand claims of tearing the whole damn system down which is very appealing. The system isn’t working for us, we’d love to see it tear down.

But the Republican party is a bitter pill. With them in charge comes abuse of power, crime, and authoritarianism.

So on one hand, we have the Democrat party that’s out of touch with reality, holds elitist attitudes towards average Americans, and has a long track record of implimenting meaningless micro-changes that don’t actually address the seriousness of the problems.

Then on the other hand, we have the Republican party that directly speaks to the average American, acknowledges their struggles, yet redirects their anger towards minorities & women, and has fascistic tendencies.

It’s a tough choice between Democrat, Republican, and casting no vote at all. I can’t blame the average American for voting for Trump to burn the whole damn system down. The Democrats need to get their shit together, but as of now they’d rather just voter shame and victim blame.

They’re not going to retake power for a long time, and even then they wouldn’t do anything with that power to fix what’s broken.

  • I think the general population of humans struggle to recognize, understand, and address large scale threats.

There’s the scientific community that’ll try to explain these issues to the general public in simplistic term. But they’re often overruled by dumb idiots in charge who store snowballs in their freezer as proof that climate change isn’t real.

There’s a belief that humanity needs to be brought to the edge of extinction to realize how bad things really are and to get their shit together. I don’t believe humanity would be willing to save itself from extinction as it’s just not profitable to do so.

  • The democrat answer is always to blame & shame the voters, leftists & progressives for their losses.

But what democrats won’t ever do is represent the interests of the people, they can’t. Democrats take bribes from rich donors who have interests that conflict with the voters.

Voters want universal healthcare, rich donors do not. Voters want free college, rich donors do not. Voters want the genocide in Gaza to end, rich donors do not. There’s many more examples, but democrats have to walk a tight rope.

If the democrats cater to the voters, they lose the rich donors. If they cater to the rich donors, they lose the voters. So democrats have been pandering to their rich donors while pushing optics as if they support the voters. But it’s always a lie.

When democrats take power, they implement miniscule change that expires or is easily reversed to appease the voters while still doing the bidding of the donors. But as the voter’s need for change grows, the less that democrats want to win.

Winning means being in charge, which means pressure to implement change. Rich donors don’t want that change, so democrats deliberately lose.

Democrats would rather be a minority party that soaks up donations rather than be the majority party and have to actually govern and fix things.

  • Democrats are NOT leftists, they’re center right at best. They ultimately serve corporate interests and NOT the will of the people.

You will never get universal healthcare, police reform, free college, less military spending, and other leftist ideals from the Democrat party because they’re not leftists. Doing these things runs counter to the interests of their corporate masters.

We have a fascist party and a conservative party, but we don’t actually have a liberal party. We haven’t had one since before Clinton.
