  • A lot of countries opposed Germany in “ww2” because they wanted their country to be the global superpower, not Germany. So it’s not that they had an issue with Germanys ideaology, but instead felt threatened by it’s existence, similar to how the US and USSR felt threatened by each other’s existence. In fact both the US and Soviet union had policies of their own that were pretty similar to the nazis. The US had Japanese internments camps, along with racial segregation. Soviet union had gulags and the great purge










  • Not a fan of ziq but I do have to admit that I’d agree that marxism and anarchism want something different. I think it’s fair to say they want something similar but not exactly the same. Marxism wants communism that is supported through a marxist like apparatus, with a centralized administration, even after the withering away of the state. And they would still support heighachy and the existence of political power, while anarchists who advocate communism advocate for a decentralized anarchist society with communist economics
