1 year agoIn that case you would probably have less gas cars and maybe more public transit. Or are you forgetting gasoline is heavily subsidized by the government? Or how domestic automakers lobbying led to the death of the street car in the early 1900s? Nearly every piece of technology we have developed has some sort of regulation or interference with it, whether you like the tech or not
375k brand new. Adjusted for inflation that car would be 500,000 new today.
For reference in 2011 (when the LFA came out) here are the prices at the time:
Murcielago: 354k Gallardo 550: 188k 458 Italia: 165k 911 Turbo 165k
Lexus has very little pedigree to compete with these brands. And at that price?? It’s more rare than these cars I get it. But objectively at the time was it that much better than any of these?
