I don’t think it is from one. The artist is lvl, if you are looking for more of their work.
Sure!
I don’t know. I was not able to find any more pages.
I suppose at the end of the day expectations and stereotypes on all ‘sides’ are what can lead to a lot of problems.
Agreed! I really have no idea why it is so rare… I often have to search really hard to find content of that sort. Another thing that really inspired this com was that most of softer content I could find often had the man/masculine partner (if one was present) more on the giving side of comfort/affection. Not that there is anything wrong with that of course, I just wanted to create a space that allowed for, and maybe normalized a little, masculine people being softer and vulnerable and cared for in a healthy way.
I’ll stop myself before I go on a rant
Ha! Maybe I should follow your example.
I’m glad you are enjoying it! A community like this was something I really felt was lacking (both here and on other platforms) so felt I should make one.
Agreed. If you believe a post does not follow rule 1 (like this one) feel free to report it so I am notified to take a look at it.
@Keralewd@lemmynsfw.com provided this guide in the comments of the original post:
I’ve only had success with posting links to animated WebP files, which preview and display correctly in the default web UI. It doesn’t seem to work perfectly across the variety of apps and their handling of images though.
I think @NotAGuyInAHat mentioned that they use EZgif to do it. I generate them locally with FFmpeg, though that’s a little technical.
I think that’s the artist’s name, but I’m having a bit of a hard time reading their signature, hence the ?
I doubt it is referring to the company.
nestle (verb):
to settle snugly or comfortably
to lie in an inconspicuous or sheltered manner
I’m still here, keeping an eye on things in a sense.
A few months ago I was trying to get this, and a few other communities going, by posting actively and the like but I got pretty burned out and had to focus on other things.
I am not sure lemmy has the population yet to reach the point where communities can be self sustaining. I suspect those that are active are being kept so by a small handful of dedicated users, and when those users leave for one reason or another, the community fades.
