Would prefer a direct one up one down system, rather than an unhealthy weighted play off, but better than nothing…

I broke the lid from my wedding gift teapot (20+ years old). Denby didn’t do the exact model any more, but gave me a good enough replacement, free!
Won’t help your predicament, but just wanted to shout out denby for awesome customer service!
Smeghead Or cockwomble.
This year I finally snapped (pun intended!), and moved to debian 12 on the desktop (after starting on Ubuntu 6.06). It’s so familiar, but somehow more straight forward. Things “just work”, as opposed to the constant niggles I had with Ubuntu.
There’s a couple of vocal people trying to get quackhouse.uk as it’s replacement, but it’s down at the moment. And a crap name, imo.
“We’re determined to get this through as quickly as possible. So the real question is: is the Labour Party going to stand in the way and stop this from happening, or are they going to work with us and support this Bill so we can get it through as quickly as possible?"
Is this some sort of weird 3d chess thing that I’m too dumb to understand? " labour won’t back our batshit plan, so we’ll teach them a lesson, and call an election. Which they’ll win. And then they won’t enact our batshit plan. "
Nope, I don’t get it at all.
Saved you a click: “In a nutshell, if an app needs special permissions that can only be granted through ADB (or with root), you can just use Shizuku to grant them right from your Android device.”
Cough Snap cough
Only gotcha is that the intelligent doesn’t always work! I’ve had at it 3 times in a row where the schedule had not been obeyed and charged too much, or outside of the plan. A problem with kia, rather then octopus, apparently. It is beta, after all.
But on the other hand, it does offer cheap rates outside of that 6 hour window if it determines you need it.
And the rest of the house also benefits during that time. The more you can shift off peak (dishwasher, washing machine, etc) the better. Octopus reckons I use over 50% of my household consumption in the off peak hours.
If you try to “create” growth, it can seem forced (tens of posts, all from the same user, with no comments just makes places look desperate.) just needs a few of us to post news, opinions, memes, etc, fairly regularly - and, more importantly, comment on them to drive conversations.
Take it you didn’t click “learn more”?
To sign into YouTube, you need to sign into Google.Com. that’s the cross site script. Nothing scary, or unexpected.
