I understand it, but it’s overblown. Basically he doesn’t have ideal traits and is taking up a BOff slot. Oh well.

It is funny when you play a character that doesn’t have him. Random BOffs will take his place in the cutscenes talking to his friends and family.

I’m going to have to pick this up, if just for the Atlas and Thrai. Not a huge fan of the other ships, but I can make use of them.

There are a few pieces in there that interest me for some of my gimmick builds, but I have enough free T6 coupons to handle those if I feel like it. Nothing jumps out at me that says “buy this now!”

I agree. I’m waiting for the stats, but I can’t see anything that’s prompting me to spend money. I do have some T6 coupons laying around if some of the ships turn out especially interesting.

Some… interesting choices. I really like the re-work of the original Wolf 359 ships though.

I feel I should post this again, for anyone going through the recruit process:

1. Get a melee weapon that has a lunge feature; swords, Furiadon Fangs, or even the Bat’leth of Sto’Vo’Kor.
2. Enable auto attack for your weapons.
   a. Options -> Control (Ground), Auto attack -> Toggle, never cancels.
   b. Right-click on your weapon attacks to enable auto attack. Some weapons should only have primary and secondary set to auto, some should have all three.
3. Set up three healer BOffs and one shield heal BOff.
4. IMPORTANT: Under Options -> Controls (Ground), make sure “Select attacker if attacked” is “On”.
5. Launch the mission “Partisans” and fight through the first bar section.
6. When you get to the Arena, set your BOffs to passive and activate “Threatening Posture”.
7. Walk to all three generators so the creatures start spawning.
8. Go to one of the initial spawn areas and start attacking one of the creatures.
9. Get up, stretch your legs, and let it go for a while.

It also doesn’t help that I also have everything else in the package, which makes the cost almost entirely a single T6 ship that isn’t all that great.

I’ve also come to realize that I have far more ships and traits than I can reasonably play. Most of my characters have a theme, and that is mostly settled. My ship buying has slowed greatly over three past year.

The ship has always interested me, but I already have the Tommy Gun unlocked for the account. It just hasn’t offered enough for the price.

Armor by John Steakley is one of my favorites; it starts off quickly and keeps a steady pace through the book.

That’s a nice looking ship.

It’s a great setting, but the mechanics need a lot of refinement. A video game would be awesome.
