0·4 days agosure. May as well as stop going to most of the internet. I understand your anger, but brah, it’s how things are. It ain’t hard to close a popup. I don’t like it either, but until there is an alternative as popular that’s not commercial, it is what it is. Feel free to stay on Mastadon. lol

44·5 days agoI think the likes are because it’s good to get the news out there and that pranksters are getting annoying. Not a support of racism. At least here on Lemmy. The story would be same thing regardless of the race of the individuals. Pranksters like this guy are annoying as shit, regardless of race.

news@lemmings.world•The government shutdown is over. The air traffic controller shortage is notEnglish
54·5 days agoMy brother was an air traffic controller for 11 years. The money was actually really good. And the perks are nice. The stress and drama…um, not cool. I don’t have the brains for it, but my brother has very few good things to say about it. Tho it did fund his lifestyle and led him to be very successful.

33·5 days agoMeh, it’s Lemmy. We sorta attract some of the more anti-social guys cuz we’re the more nerdy reddit. All good. If he wants to waste his entire day fighting off imaginary foes, that’s on him. I guess he is a big Trump fan or something? He’s probably upset that his Orange King is having a tough time.
His DM’s have been um… alarming. Let’s just hope he doesn’t show up at any political gatherings. Or we may hear about him in the news! lol

33·5 days agoThere’s a guy who just goes thru my posts and downvotes me, while saying that I am a foreign agent/spy. LOL Yesterday, he spent all day tracking down my posts and downvoting them, regardless of content.
His account is new, and his record so far is 0 upvotes, and 74 downvotes, all on my posts, and the downvotes were all made within one day.
I won’t name him here, unless he comes into the comments in this thread. I have responded to him directly with the uncensored chart in my other comments with him tho.
He’s obsessed with thinking that I’m a vast network of russianchinesearmyrobotENEMY(!?) spies trying to destroy Lemmy by… by… um… well… posting news stories to a news community. Because as we know, posting links to quality news stories will destroy the world! LMAO
Name is censored in this graphic since he hasn’t come here yet today to make some other random thing up, but I uncensor it when I reply to his weird accusations directly in threads in my other comments. Here’s the chart for proof using a lemmy tool:

Science@mander.xyz•Scientists reverse kidney damage in mice, hope for humans next
172·6 days agoUm… animal testing happens before human trials. That’s how science does.
But to your point, I do hope this is safe, and successful human trials start soon. This would be a huge game changer.

Nah. I like them.
