As an environmentalist, I will always be against AI until the environmental destruction it causes is stopped. It just uses too much energy and we just plain and simply don’t need it to transition to communism.

I loved this part: “In the subsequent House debate on July 25, 1934, the Archbishop of Canterbury … supported Lord Charnwood by claiming a hearsay figure of 5,000,000 deaths. Government members shot down the discussion, partly ‘on grounds that those who wanted to talk about famine in Ukraine were not noticeably eager to examine oppression in Germany or poverty in England’”.
As an environmentalist, eating meat is probably the most immoral thing I do. I eagerly look forward to the day where we don’t have to kill animals to eat meat.
