If this is pvc cladding I would recommend low modulus silicone.

Although they talk specifically about glazing, this advice is based on expansion and contraction of the materials and the ability of the sealant to move with it. It also has a long service life.
With that said, the work looks shoddy and I’d call them back. They have a certain duty of care, in regards to your property in my opinion.
