Edit: I love stories like this because, and hopefully this’ll cause euphoria and not dysphoria, I feel like I will never be pretty or beautiful or cute or anything like that; but then I see makeovers like yours and it gives me confidence and hope.
The base game or the patch? Not surprised about the base game considering how much detail modern games have and how large textures have gotten; however it sounds like the patch size is a Microsoft problem, not the devs.

Furthermore, it sounds like they’re clear on what her feelings are and things like that. It’s totally possible that he’s looking for an heir which is why her attraction to his wealth isn’t something he has a problem with (he’s already planning to give it to her and/or any children she might end up having). It’s also possible (as someone else pointed out) that it may be more kinky and saying she is marrying him for his wealth is an easier (or less awkward) explanation. Regardless, however, it sounds like it’s consensual.
I think the way I’d handle it is to voice my concerns just to make sure she’s thought of what might happen. When you do so, make sure she understands you’re not rejecting her, but trying to make sure she’s thought everything through; and that you need some reassurance yourself that she’ll be okay. Explain that you care about her and you don’t want anything bad to happen to her, and that’s why you’re so concerned. Then let her go and be there for her if things go south. Ultimately, she’s an adult and you can’t stop her from living her own life. At least it sounds like this path will ensure she (and any children she might have with him) will live a good life.

Maybe the community has gotten better, but back when I played it wasn’t uncommon for mid to get salty because they fed early game and start feeding couriers to the enemy team.
Factorio, Warframe, Minecraft, Dota 2. However, the only two I’d still recommend are Factorio and Minecraft. Warframe’s grind seems to have finally burned me out for good, Dota 2 is bad. You’re not gonna have fun with Dota 2. The game concept is good, but like most competitive online games, the community fucking sucks.
In addition to Factorio and Minecraft, try Voices of the Void, The Long Drive, WEBFISHING, and Balatro.
Edit: oh yeah, and personally I have both Sims 2 and Sims 4 w/ all DLC (yeah, I toootally bought all the dlc) installed on my steam deck. Both fun games with their own ups and downs. Sims 2 is great vanilla, Sims 4 is great when heavily modded. Don’t bother downloading the F2P version of Sims 4 from Origin if you’re wanting to mod it with stuff like sacrificial’s mods. Those’ll break with every major update (and sometimes minor updates too!) and you can’t pause updates anymore. So, you’ll have to find alternative methods.
Homosexuality is still technically illegal in Texas; they just aren’t allowed to enforce it. If they strip away the supreme court precedents regarding LGBT discrimination, then those kinds of laws will automatically go back into effect.

You know, I’d never thought about doing something like that. Tbh, that seems more helpful than most things; because you know where the person you’re talking to is, and that you can go and see them in person. Like, you really shouldn’t do that do a store clerk, that’s not what they’re being paid for; but at the same time, if I was in that position then I’d absolutely put my job on the line and take the time to talk and comfort them.
I wonder if LGBT-positive stores give people crisis training in case they get calls or emails like that. If not, then it might be worth considering doing that as a community. Then someone who’s struggling can find their nearest LGBT-anything and have someone to talk to.

I’m honestly scared that the LGBTQ community isn’t gonna “”“be a thing”“” in 30 or so years because it seems like LGBTQ rights are backsliding; not because being gay will go away, but because the Internet will allow for surveillance so invasive that there’ll be no chance for a community to exist.
Like, people outside the community don’t get it. Hell, some people inside the community don’t totally get it. The reaction I’ve gotten from people who’re cishet is “aw, it’s okay. I think you’re just overreacting. Trump really won’t be able to do as much as you think”. Hell, right now I’m dealing with parents who think hrt is an optional, cosmetic thing; not something I kinda need to not be a completely dysfunctional, self-loathing mess. They’re wanting me to move out (reasonable) before I start HRT (unreasonable). I feel like I’m in a catch-22 from hell.
I’m starting to understand why afrofuturism tends to feature heavily afro-centric worlds. Like, not just knowing why, but actually understanding why. When you have to rely on politicians who see you as just a pawn to be traded, you start to wish you had a country of your own that’s free from politicians who’ll use you. Why can’t we have the Gay Empire and the Confederation of Fur, Feathers and Scales next door or something? Just steal Western Sahara or something. You seem like a good dad, you’re accepting your daughter for who she is, so I probably don’t have to say this, but make sure your kids know and understand you love them and that they’re free to talk to you about whatever. Make sure you don’t just tell them, but that they understand they can come to you to talk about things.
Topics like sex were very much a taboo growing up, so I thought I was a disgusting pervert when I first became aware that something was different about me as a teenager. It led to me suppressing my feelings for about 20yrs; and when I finally came out a month or so ago, the dam broke and 20yrs of pent-up emotions came flooding out. I lost almost all of my friendships in a self-destructive spiral that lasted somewhere around a week because I couldn’t get my emotions under control and my parents wouldn’t step in and help.
Don’t let that happen to them. If you want them to understand that it’s okay to talk to you about that stuff, then you have to make sure they don’t think it’s taboo to talk about. That means you have to breach the taboo so they understand it’s okay. Maybe that’s making cringy jokes about a sex scene in a movie, or making a throwaway comment about how someone has a nice butt (yanno, and then you get the cliche “play slap” from your SO). Maybe smoke a joint every now and then, or let your kids occasionally have a sip or two of something alcoholic on special occasions. Dunno if your kids are old enough for that, just some things that woulda helped signal to me that my parents were open to talking about those kinds of things. It would have potentially saved me 20yrs of grief and festering misery.

Apparently you’ve never had people tell you that you don’t matter because you’re from a red state. I’m trans, stuck in a red state, and get to have people tell me I deserve what the state is doing to me and my trans siblings because we were born here.

I personally would have loved it if they’d actually carried through with physically swappable components. While the touchpads are awesome for games that don’t have normal gamepad support or require faster turn speeds, they just don’t have the same feel as a physical analog stick for the games that do support it.
