Isn’t that just the manufacturer overcharging for parts for the most part? Like there is no way a taillight assembly is 10% of the cost of a truck.
I think it’s just that the overall collectible/exotic car market is insane now and the LFA is one of the many cars swept up by it. Every limited edition that car makers crap out is sold nearly instantly, even the corvette is selling at almost double MSRP.
Not sure if it’s just trendy among the rich to buy cars now or it’s economic factors at play, but IMO it’s just following the trend of all limited production exotic cars, it’s not people suddenly waking up to the LFA’s greatness in particular
