Stick around a bit. It’s the same toxic people and habits as reddit just not as populated yet. Reddits downfall wasn’t a platform or Spez problem it was always the users in the comments.

0·2 months agoSometimes it’s hard to tell if things like this are just provocateur to make people hate trans people. Has this guy ever expressed anti-trans opinions? Other than the MAGAts in my life the only negative things I hear about trans people is how rigid and 0-100 everything is.

I agree BUT I just got downvoted for pointing out sexism then calling out the users that downvoted me. Then I got downvoted for “complaining about downvotes” when the whole point was sexism. Toxic memey invalidation.
If there were more good people on Lemmy I wouldn’t be downvoted. Unfortunately over half of the 38 people that interacted with that comment downvoted it and those can’t all be bots.
