It quite simply will not and cannot do that.

Yup, that will work fine and be a great choice.
Personally the nylon sport loops are my preference for workouts. They’ll get wet from sweat and will need to be washed often. I have about 40 of them (mostly cheap knockoffs from AliExpress - a couple bucks each) so I always keep a couple extra clean ones in my gym bag to switch out after a workout. They’re lightweight, secure, and very very comfortable. Also very easy to adjust as the size of your wrist changes as you get hotter working out.
Probably your snoring! ;-)
Likewise. I’d also like to see blood sugar measurements. I’m not diabetic, but have friends who are and either blood sugar or blood pressure capabilities would sell boatloads more watches and would drive the stock up a decent bit — and that…makes me happy!
Other than buying used, now is probably the best time in terms of discounts. I doubt it’ll drop any further for Black Friday.
Blood pressure readings.
No it does not. If it’s a cellular capable model it will say both GPS and LTE on the glass on the back of the watch.
It sounds like either the current Series 9, or a 3rd generation SE would be the best choice for you. Both are low profile and light, both do the haptic vibration things you want as well as notifications, texts and calls. The advantage of an S9 over the SE is an Always On Display capability, ECG, and Blood Oxygen measurement. If those are not important to you, get an SE.
Neither of those watches will measure up to your battery expectations, and will have to be charged daily. (the Series 9 will charge much faster than the SE though), but you’ll be charging daily.
There’s also the Ultra, but definitely not slim or low profile, and much heavier than the aforementioned two devices. The Ultra however has about a 3 day battery life.
Not really a cruise guy, but I hope you and your Hermes watch really enjoying it. ;-)
I have attempted to use the Quick Actions double tap with my Ultra 1 - it was just f’n frustrating how badly it worked, maybe one in 10 times. I also now have an S9 as my backup watch and the new double-tap feature works flawlessly. I really like it.
Yes, once you update your watch (if you choose to do so), there is no going back to using it with the iPhone X Or any iPhone not running iOS 17.
I do believe though that you can pair a WatchOS9 watch to any iPhone running iOS 17 without having to upgrade the watch. I did this for about a month with an old Series 3 watch that I had until I sold it.
Another vote here for Autosleep!
Never ever had this problem on any of my many watches.
