The side of the toilet paper. My best friend is a mad men and puts it on the wrong side. He always changes it whenever he goes to the toilet somewhere.
Its just funny, my gf made a frame specifically for him in our bathroom and at one point we duck taped the shit out of the toilet paper dispenser so he wouldn’t be able to change it. Made everyone laugh.
I use a small wax heater for removing body hair. 20$ and gets the job done. If you plan to do more than one chain at a time though, it’s too small. I’ll probably buy a used crock pot or instant pot at some time to wax more than one chain at a time.
I’m not the one who mixes them up… The one I replied to was presenting RCV as a panacea that would help with this party voting when in fact it entrenches the most popular party and remove most chances of other party to ever win an election.
If you want smaller parties to win, RCV isn’t the solution, you need proportional representation. You can combine both though, but that’s not what was implied in the comment that I replied to.
No, nothing in ranked choice voting says that it becomes proportional representation. Ranked choice voting in the same first past the post system still stays first past the post. If you want proportional representation, it’s not it.
This is a debated topic where I live. Our current PM would love ranked choice voting because it would solidify their position, kill most changes of a conservative victory and eliminate any chance of most other parties to have a meaningful impact on the government. That’s why he abandoned the electoral reform because every commity and experts said that it would be way worse for democracy.
Ranked choice voting is still first past the post… There is still only one winner, the results aren’t spread proportionally. Ranked choice voting can give even bigger majorities with even fewer votes. Since you have only 2 real parties, it won’t change much in the US.
In French they can be. In France, no because they don’t have a large repertoire of sounds. But in Quebec, all 3 E sounds different.
I migrated from Bitwarden to 1password because I wanted something that works better on Linux. With 1password-cli and PAM integration mainly. Bitwarden worked beautifully under Windows, but once I switched over to Linux, I realised that 1password had more Linux friendly features. I track some discussions over bitwarden that talk about implementing those features, I might come back at some point.
They complain and they offer a bogeyman. That’s enough for most people since it comforts them.
This setting doesn’t exist for me. I just use another launcher anyway.
I don’t have it on mine. I finished high school (college) 20 years ago. There are way more relevant things to put in my resume than that.
I just met one. He doesn’t think that Trump is a fascist. He thinks that Trump and Biden are the same. The thinks that we should bring the whole system of oppression down. He doesn’t realise that in order to make change happen, we must make allies, that electing someone who wants to bring the democracy (even though it is flawed) is worse for his goals. He even repeats right wing propaganda.
They are few, but sometimes they can appear.
Thx, for podcasts, I paid for pocketcast a long time ago, so I’m fine for now. I’m mainly looking for this use case, but for a standard RSS reader.
Here is a use case: multiple device sync. With a server client infrastructure, read status are synced to the server, so if I change device, I can pick it up where I left off. Same thing as using a cloud service, but self hosted.
I agree you have it bad there. Unfortunately in politics we have to vote for the least bad option. On all the issue listed though, a lot is due to congress, mainly because people decided that republicans and their idea of not governing is preferable to democrats. Personally, I know the options are very bad, but I the sliver of democracy is still worth it to try to preserve in order to have the option to influence the next time around.
It might. I take the risk. At that point, storage cost will be lower, I’ll just buy a bunch of 20TB drives and build a truenas NAS. In the meantime, I’m satisfied with unraid as I don’t have to spend 2k+ to get 50TB of usable space.
Why would they need production capacity to produce a product that is useless for the NATO military doctrine? That’s just not how NATO countries wage war. Of course they don’t have a good production capacity of a tool they are not likely to use. And even if they wanted to start to produce them at the start of the war, it wouldn’t be ready today, it takes a lot of time and resources to build production capacity from scratch.
As I said to people I know, fun. I have fun setting this up. Its a hobby. I like to search for bargains and build the automations. If you don’t have fun doing it, its usually not really worth it. It gets expensive quick and its kind of a lot of work to research and setup if you want to keep your privacy.
Yeah, I wasn’t close for a picture and I didn’t know how to explain it (English isn’t my main language). Just has to remember to take a picture next time I went to the bathroom 😆
