They broke it. Period. Either way they just married that car. Are you in the states? I hope you’re in California

Why not just get coolant from the dealer? Not sure how it is in Canada but local parts stores here are charging the same if not more for most stuff. Dealer has been cheaper for a lot of stuff and can’t beat factory.
Are they using factory thermostats? Most aftermarket are garbage. Wonder if they’re using a failsafe style; they always fail in the open position…
One of your climate control doors is sticking.
Go to autozone and have them tell you the code. Tell us the code along with your year make and model.
It depends if you own the car outright and how much it’s worth and if the shop would want the car instead of their payment. Most likely what will happen if they don’t want the car they’ll sue you and the judge will make you pay and if you don’t have money they’ll go after any property you own. Don’t forget depending what state they can also add storage fees for up to 60 days on top of the bill.
What’s thw year make and model car? What condition is it in? Maybe you can offer them the title or the title and partial payment.
You need to get fuel pressure tester on there and see if it’s within specs.
Would like to add that the slot needs to be in the center just like it is now so the bump on your pad has somewhere to go. Make sure your match the pads to the old ones (likely 2 go on piston side and 2 on the other)
There’s no way for someone on thw internet to tell you if your caliper is seized by looking at that picture! You need to turn that piston in order to compress it. So if you’re just trying to compress it without turning it, that’s why it’s stuck.
Lol what! Your code is probably thermostat under regulating temp and your fan is on high for 10 min after you shut the engine off. Take the truck to autozone or whatever parts place and ask them to read the code. Get back to us
Move the plastic cover unless the issue is you can’t break it loose? Use a t30 socket instead of a screwdriver. Or find someone stronger to turn it
They’re wider and taller. Not sure if it’s enough to cause all that though. Maybe your old ones had a lot more air in them
