Non-American here. No. I didn’t even know school shootings are a thing until I learned about the Empire. When I was in school all we did was fire drills.

Isn’t that the case with TES as well?
Depends on what TES you’re talking about. In Morrowind most people are neutral towards the player and you have to gain their trust or bribe them if you want something from them. Some just hate the player for various reasons and some NPCs are just straight up racist/spiecist. Some refuse to talk to you if you have contraband in your inventory (like skooma or moon sugar). I don’t know about the other games but I’ve heard that the “universally liked player” thing started with Skyrim.
Not too long ago I was in an argument with some lib on Matrix (who btw. claimed to be a ML despite the fact that they’ve never read a single line of Marx or Lenin) and they were calling me brainwashed because I support AES countries. I asked them “If I can’t trust anything China says, then what CAN I trust?” and they replied “You need to look for defectors and listen what they have to say.”. When I told them that all the US Media is controlled by the state which acts in the interest of the ruling class, they started calling me crazy. Because according to them the U.S. Media doesn’t spread that much propaganda and mostly report on “independent” truths.
Diagnosis? China bad syndrome.
Completely agree, comrade. Religion is only a vector of attack to the socialist state, therefore It’s in the interest of the working class to have a firm grip on it and eventually get rid of it. I can’t see a world where socialism/communism and religion can peacefully co-exist.
