Because general elections historically always have higher turn out. I think that’s what they’re trying to get at specifically.

But isn’t this specifically by design as well? We don’t actually want to invest in Africa, we want to keep it destabilized so we can continue to exploit those countries and its people for resources. It’s a form of imperialism. We can overload them with aid, they in turn have to be dependent on that aid. This then de-incentivizes those countries from putting any resources into the problems.
So yes, John Green is right. I haven’t read the book, but I don’t know if he talks about how the geo politics, all of this is by design. The Global Perspective: Reflections on Imperialism and Resistance by Torkil Lauesen talks to how the global south gets exploited for profits.

He’s a Representative, not a Senator. So that’s a two year term, not six.
Edit: still dumb though, and should get his ass primaried.

Do either of these also support voice channels with screen sharing/streaming?

Helped inspire a heated rivalry?
Interesting, you ignore the fact that the presidential run in 2024 literally paraded around with Dick Cheney and Liz Cheney. By all accounts the “moderate left” rejected the “far left”. They quite literally played for the moderate position and lost.

Going to piggyback off this and add another fund that’s to help the immigrant community pay rent and get groceries while this occupation is going on.

I’d rather Jesse Ventura or Al Franken run. Bleh 😩

They knocked the door open, the lady didn’t open it.
You can see the wood splinter and fragments on the ground they forced the door open illegally. You can see a video of this from the outside they broke the door open.

He’s very much alive.

Historically, this is true. But I believe over the last decade this has flipped the other way around. I do not have a source though, so don’t take this as truth. I’m actually interested in looking at that data.
Edit: I found this, which is pretty informative. Basically, the last 6 decades, regardless elections more often flipped against the party that holds the White House. So maybe the perception that conservatives get out and vote more often in special elections is actually incorrect. It’s just a weird perception we have. https://centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/the-mini-midterms-five-takeaways-from-six-decades-of-house-special-elections/
I’ve been playing it the past few weeks with no issue, I’m on Garuda Linux with Hyprland. I have a 7900 XTX. The have runs at a consistent 100fps for about 2 hours then I start to get frame hitches where I drop down to 40. Just restarting the game fixes that issue for me.

I have this… I just thought this was normal vision. I hate my eyes 😔

Let’s not forget the whole Counter-Strike economy is based on gambling, which I think is also not good, especially because there’s a lot of young kids picking that up and becoming gambling addicts, which I think is a net negative for people.
Edit: People make games did a deep dive on this, as did Coffeezilla did a series on the whole ecosystem.

Well I guess it’s time to start making ass nickels.

Been playing ARC Raiders on Linux the past couple of days.
Currently on Arch with hyprland, but I’m considering switching to Bazzite or SteamOS. My understanding is SteamOS doesn’t support multiple monitor setups well. So that’s what gives me pause on trying that.
But end of the day if what you have is working, there’s not much reason to switch to one unless you’re curious to poke around.
