I usually limit my deck to 9-10w. After that it hits heavy diminishing returns, and this graph just confirms my feelings.

Frametimes fluctuation. Refresh rate miss match. Tailored motion blur effects for 30 fps. And so on.
To add to your statement, which is correct, SD’s LCD screen flickers at anything other than 60hz, so some people might experience dizzines, eye strain, headaches, and so on, when playing at say 40hz, with the OLED they might play 40 fps at 80hz and avoid said issues.
It’s around 5% faster. Less stutter due to higher stock memory bandwidth.
