Gotta find it, install it, update it occasionally etc. cloud services don’t need that.

Counter-point: why would want to own and maintain something like a computer? I want a simple device that take no thought and can be replaced with zero effort.
Things like that have existed. There are Reddit communities that are flooded with obfuscated comments that are used for communicating with bots. There’s probably one in the fediverse by now.
Oh wow if this was a remote hardware hack that would be pretty unique. How many other hardware hacks have injured or killed people?
Ha ha, the formatting alone is worth the upvote. Best of nominee right here.
VPN and any other encrypted app traffic has telltale signals. You might not be able to decode the content, but you can see who is talking to who, how often, how long, how much data, etc.
My firewall, Palo Alto, and my dns service, Cisco umbrella, has no problem identifying people using VPNs on my networks.
it’s so odd that a presidential candidate would support an alternative to US currency.
i’ve been manually curating your search results the past few weeks. Sorry boss, i’ll do better.
I guess we could send in the national guard.
Damn vote better bro
VPN usage is simple to detect. I don’t know how SA deals with it. If it’s like China you may get throttled considerably and “raise flags”
I never had issues with SK but it’s been a minute. I doubt it will be an issue.
Is there any chipotle that exists where a better-tasting taco truck isn’t within walking distance?
Modern mythology is full of holes and you’re expecting ancient mythology to be better?
Bro, were you born in a socialist barn or something?
SK is a non-issue. I personally wouldn’t step foot in SA though. I don’t think they block vpn but they will ruin your day if they think you’re possibly related to a known objector.
SK would only be an issue if you have reason to believe they would be interested in you for some reason.
Noho as of this summer now requires you to tap to unlock the turnstile to exit too. They are expanding this to other red/B line stops.
DTLA 7th/Fig has definitely always had turnstiles.
Long Beach has not had turnstiles.
They have the simple waste-high turnstile at every subway stop. At above-ground locations they don’t have these. They have been there for 15 years or longer.
There are no full height “man trap” turnstiles if that’s what you’re talking about.
The LA subway has turnstiles. Most people don’t pay. I’d watch maybe 2/3rds of people skip payment by using the wheelchair/bike turnstile. They would do it in front of cops.
They are starting to enforce fares again though.
Might have just overloaded the battery somehow too.
