I haven’t been a car enthusiast that long, but the way this market is going cars just seem like a huge waste of money. I bought a 2019 GLI new for 25k USD with a 10 year warranty. I just can’t seem to justify spending 3x the amount to still sit in traffic. I’m never going to go out on the track, so it’s like what’s the point?
I have a pretty damn good job, but the area I live in has almost zero curved roads. It’s all flat and straight, and the reality is I’d rather go on more vacations than buy a nicer car.
r/cars is active? There’s like 6 posts a day with over 5 million subs.
The mods gatekeep this sub so much that there is almost zero activity compared to subs of similar sizes.
