Honestly I’m not sure they even get it, so maybe they should

Hell yeah watch me tween between sitting and standing without having the stop moving. So much time saved
I think we have very different ways of enjoying art. I don’t really understand how it’s possible for at to have nothing with the artist’s views, unless it were totally random. Actually, even that would be saying something.
But I get the feeling that we look at art pretty differently.
Can’t say personally, but for many it’s the first time they’re even looking at what other engines have to offer.
I got that, I was just repeating the number. My point is that leather is more durable than is necessary for a consumer electronic, especially one from Apple which has made planned obsolescence continuous innovation a cornerstone of their business.
Human rights don’t exist either. These are legal and philosophical concepts that we decide on, not fundamental constants.
Well vegans do it, so it must be available enough
Why I would separate the artist from what they made? I’m interested in what they have to say about the world. That’s the point of art.
It’s not just content to make me happy until the next hit. Like, it has meaning.
Yeah but now imagine they were part of a sixty year old computer. Kind of a waste if you ask me.
The electronics here will be grossly obsolete within five years.
Canvas straps can be good quality, less sticky, and last way beyond the lifespan of any consumer grade electronic device.
Not to sound like I’m a textiles expert, so don’t come at me
I think a part of it is the same old “normies are invading our community.” A bunch of the queer old guard of fedi are having to dent the new kids into shape.
I’m seeing a lot more centrist takes than I did before, and we all know what that leads to
I’m finding it’s the opposite. Depending on what thread I stumble into I’ll get wildly different takes
That sounds nice. Similarly I’ve been in a book club for about two years now that was started on Reddit.
Although we haven’t read a book in months, we still meet virtually every week, so I guess we’re just friends now.
The ultimate test of these kinds of groups seems to be whether they can survive transplantation from one social medium to another. I wonder how my little book club would fare if there was a schism over using discord…
Maybe there is a board here that would help you set up something like that? It can’t hurt to look around and put out some feelers.
Great I really wanted that.
I wonder how this will affect the right to be forgotten. It’s not like theyre going to un-train any models or remove any derivative content
