70,000 tons “to date” is a heck of a lot less than 37 billion tons annually. It would take over 500,000 identical facilities with no environmental impact to reach net zero.

The 18 months I was commuting/driving through NoVA/DC (lived too far to feasibly take train) were literally the worst in my life.

My towns local realtor group (there’s only like three total) bought a dying motel and converted the rooms into the absolute shittiest “studio apartments” with like a hot plate and a mini fridge.

If you look at things closely they look different than they do far away.
