Hell yeah on changing your opinion to fit the facts, dude. Let’s hear it for rational discourse!

It’s worth noting for everyone who might be reading this that blood on your toilet paper is 99.9% of the time from hemorrhoids or wiping too much, not from colon cancer. You’re looking for dark stool and all these other symptoms, not a tiny amount of bright red blood on your toilet paper.
I think people on the left love Bernie because there aren’t a lot of terrible skeletons in his closet. There are still a TON of things that Bernie could do that would make me dislike him and not support him. There is almost nothing Trump could do that would make a Trump supporter dislike him and not support him. That’s the difference.
In other words, admiring someone for their ideals and action is not the same as unconditionally supporting them. No politician deserves the latter.
I think Dan and Jordan should get all the emails addresses from Infowars’ mailing list and send out stackies full of carefully laid out dissections of Alex Jones’s show. Might actually get through to a few people.
“Man far worse than Trump refuses to condemn Trump” lol big surprise.
This is great, except in my case, where I have regional insurance that no one takes where I live. Everyone is out of network.
I don’t think I could blame someone for wanting to adopt a baby and not an older foster care kid who has had a lot of problems. People who do that are saints.
When I was in grad school I knew a guy who just simply didn’t teach for half the semester. No contact with students, no classes held, just didn’t show. He gave everyone a passing grade on the midterm and came back halfway through. No explanation. He was not fired. Of course, like the rest of us, he was grossly underpaid and didn’t have health insurance. I guess they get what they get if they’re gonna treat us like cogs, right?
I’ll give you this point, they portay teenage angst pretty well. I don’t get why a grown person would welter in teenage angst, though
Lmao you’re comparing Linkin Park with the Beatles?
Music being subjective doesn’t imply all music is equally good or that everyone’s opinion is equally correct. There are still bad opinions. Saying Linkin Park is worth listening to is a bad opinion
It says a lot about people who like Linkin Park that they can’t tolerate any criticism of the band. Criticizing someone aesthetic preferences is not some great evil
Bad taste then, bad taste now. No development or change in perspective. If this is you, you should be disappointed in yourself. Grow as you age.
Edit: hahaha people did NOT like this comment. They’re BAD, guys. Whiny, cringey, melodramatic. It’s music for a 12 year old.
This is why their pizzas are so boring. One or two toppings. Come on, get creative with it, Guissepe.
Adopting kids ain’t easy. People always say “you could just adopt” but they don’t realize just how much expense is involved. It could easily cost $50k.
This happened to me. I got a PhD and expected to be able to get a tenure track job in academia. Sure, it’s hard. But it wouldn’t be me that failed at it, right? Wrong. Three years later, no job, scraping by on adjunct work.
I went back to law school. Sometimes you have to redefine your life in a way that gives you new opportunities. Does it still hurt that I couldn’t get my dream job? Yeah, but I have a lot of good I can do for the world in other ways, and I’m not going to let that dream’s death prevent me from doing it.
In the states, a significant bug infestation of any kind is a landlord problem.
Apparently you’re going to be able to buy back months when all of this is over. That made me okay with this forbearance…as long as they don’t screw that up, too!
