Thank you for the explanation! I actually think of “transcedence” (new term, I hope I’m using it correctly) as a spectrum, too. You’re right that most Americans probably see the term “spectrum” as medical. It looks like the mod already deleted my comment, so I can’t edit it, but I will make a point of speaking about more social topics as a spectrum! (“Be the change you want to see in the world”)

      ah ah,
Dont take it for you the act of moderation,
I dont want the person you reply to, feeling attacked. On this /c

      I guess i see,
Even if you want to be nice, first of all identify us as transgender people,
Others adjectives are just complementary but dont define the integrity of the umbrella and can make exclusion or be harmfull without seeing it.

Its a well know attack from transphobes and biggot, that they judge us, like we choose this lifestyle to give us a “genre”.

By defining us with “the trans genre” or this kind of adjectives, you can without wanting it, use their rethorics concerning us.
And that’s hurting a lot ofc.

Thats why for this /C/, there is no “tolerance”,

I understand what you’re saying, but I don’t see how anything I’ve said would come across as an attack. Also, I hope it’s clear that I used the word “genre” because it’s in the community name

I’m truly sorry for anyone’s feelings I’ve hurt. I just don’t know how somebody who’s ignorant and wants to be more educated (like myself) could have avoided that

Also, I’ve never once referred to trans people as anything other than “people” or “folks”. I don’t like how it seems you’re implying that I don’t respect trans people because I read the community name verbatim (in English)

Edit: I think your last statement was a typo and you mean this community doesn’t accept intolerance, but it doesn’t seem like you’re willing to tolerate people who are new and trying to learn

Feel free to look through my comment history. You’ll probably see some weird stuff, but you’ll also see that I am extremely respectful when posting in trans communities

Genre in french, doesnt have the same meaning that in english, false friend totally.
In english if you say transgender people, its totally different than “The genre trans”.

I’m truly sorry for anyone’s feelings I’ve hurt. I just don’t know how somebody who’s ignorant and wants to be more educated (like myself) could have avoided that

Well its a french community, but this case of behavings its totally include in the rules. Translate them with deepl like ;)

Pour cela, si vous etes curieux, et que vous decouvrez le sujet, ce site vous est fortement conseillé avant toute intervention ici.
Its well explained but the ressource is in french.

Edit: I think your last statement was a typo and you mean this community doesn’t accept intolerance, but it doesn’t seem like you’re willing to tolerate people who are new and trying to learn

Priority here is for trans folks, not for cis.
You have enough ressource to make your culture after all,

But if you ask we can give,
But if you feel attacked because what i say to you, maybe its not the best /c for you here, effectively.

I tolerate people, but they have to tolerate that the words are important and the meaning behind too.

I was never intolerant of these things either. I (ignorantly) used words that are now clear to me are seen as intolerant

I understand this community doesn’t want me, but please stop implying I’m something that I’m not

I dont take you account personnaly. I explain in generality and why.

I understand this community doesn’t want me, but please stop implying I’m something that I’m not.

As you don’t want others disform your words. Same for me ;-).
              I’m not saying that.

You got the main point. Words are important. And that’s what I care.

If you understand the difference and why between “the genre trans is” and “trans people/folks etc are…”, that’s what I care about.

I understand u didn’t come here to bullying.
You were ignorant as you said of this PoV. I’ve gave it to you. And end for me. There is no issue for real.
