So much for the acceptance in the free market of discussions, huh
immediately went back to playing league of legends after writing this
Honestly just replace ‘tankie’ with ‘person who doesn’t help advance Western interests, primarily America,’ and that’ll cover all their bases.
Tankie is just “commie” for boomers. Meaningless
The moderate wing offascismI used to make death threats to people over the internet. Then I realized something: either your threat is empty and you’re an all-bark-no-bite cringebaby, or you’re actually in a position to kill them, in which case just kill them. Making threats only leaves a paper trail.
Oh look, a scratched
Jesus christ the emoji is comically huge on Lemmygrad. I love the emphasis that gives it though
Wow, it really is. In that vein, here’s OP’s message sender reading this thread:
Edit: it is not as comically large
I think that’s because the lib emoji is vector?
I think on other instances, it defaults to the actual image resolution instead of the scaled down emote size. Very funny :)
So you’re telling me that is an absolute unit for you comrade?
look at em go
CPC alone has over 90 million members who these clowns would consider “tankies”. Good luck messing with the PLA.
You don’t even have to go that far to find people they call tankies. Just the other day I had the immense privilege of witnessing a lib call an anarchist Mastodon instance tankie because they saw someone talk about killing all billionaires
we did warn them this would happen tbf
Waiting for lemmee to ban him over this like
It’s here! The countdown is finally here!
That’s Hexbear’s countdown emote. You can always copy that post’s source to use it here though
Oh I know, I’m just excited that we can finally share it.
It’s funny how I don’t agree with Tankies, but I don’t wish them any harm. And then there are right-wingers…
I wonder if I would have responded this way if I had found out about Lemmy a few months earlier…
Maybe read the Communist Manifesto if you haven’t read it yet — it’s not that long :)
Manifesto is an easy read, but probably not the best introduction. There was a good beginner reading list posted around here recently, I agree with their recommendation of Harman’s “How Marxism Works” pamphlet. Super fast read, and can really help capture people’s attention to read something a bit longer form.
Don’t always agree with a lot of Harman, but he gives a really easy to understand overview.
Nothing like a little speciesism to drive the point home
They have clearly never actually met a rat because they are awesome animals. Way more intelligent and friendly than anyone give them credit for. Amazing survivors in the wild, amazing companions too.
Rats get a really bad reputation, they make great companion pets. Extremely smart and social, very clean. Not too demanding to take care of as long as you are willing to spend time with them.
