A fast-paced pixel art metroidvania, where the musician Jonah Weingarten is drawn to feudal Japan via an arcade station. Once there, he must face vicious yokai hordes and beat the game to return to his own era.
In my own words. Its a game made by a friend. If you like Metroid, Hollow Knight, Castlevania and stuff… this is your game.
And its worth its money. You will spend some time in it.
Maybe it’s a good game, but it feels kind of gimmicky to me. It doesn’t look anything like hollow knight, and the name dropping/references feel like it’s trying way too hard.
Okay. Yeah. Visually it is not lime Hollow Knight.
How the controls feel like is to a certain extend like Hollow Knight. I havent made myself clear. Sorry if I caused confusion.

It’s ok, I appreciate you clarifying. I just didn’t think it was a very good comparison, that’s all. Music, graphics, and gameplay all seem very different. The only thing that seems similar to me is the genre, but I didn’t analyze it that hard and I haven’t played it either so I could be missing things. It seems like it’s going more for a ninja gaiden vibe or something.
I may still give it a go, thank you for posting about it.
