Rich people like the urban look of ripped jeans because their jeans aren’t ripped and they want to look relatable. Fashion companies make ripped jeans for rich people to mimic poor people wearing ripped jeans because they have to. Everybody has ripped jeans unless you are lame and can afford to not have ripped jeans. So there is like an income bell curve of ripped jeans.
