Take care of your face and your photos. Our world is changing and the internet is no longer safe. I was googling myself and I found a picture of me that I had NEVER AT ALL taken before. It matched me perfectly, even my physical defects. They invented a name that was stupidly close to mine, and that’s the only reason I’ve found it. Now I wonder: How many clones of me must already be around the internet? If someone is impersonating me right now, I will never know.

This made me rethink everything and I think we should start thinking more about the reasoning behind being low profile. The future is coming and people are going to be making freaking videos of us if they get access to our faces. Wouldn’t it be better to think about our safety and privacy and protect ourselves against that? What do you guys think? Have you experienced anything like this?

I’m curious, which one of you is more “popular”? Is the fake you designed to meet certain aspects of a particular algorithm? Can you potentially reverse-engineer the faker’s intent? (Assuming it’s not some pervert who likes your specific look, of course)
