          I live in an area full of retirement communities. Like a LOT of 65+ communities. This exact thing use to happen a LOT when I was a pizza boy.

          Well, the children of the elderly ordering food for their grandparents really. Wasn’t intended to be a wellness check but it basically became one.

          It was considered standard to call the police for an actual wellness check if no one answered the door. A good few people were found dead this way, or had their life saved.

          It eventually stopped after a new girl tho decided to enter a home instead of calling the police finding one of our more frequent customers dead in her living room. Passed away watching TV.

          The new policy was we no longer deliver pizza to the retirement communities. The store closed shortly after.
