minus-squareDamage@feddit.itlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·2 months agoYeah the TwinCAT situation is absurd, pretty much like with SCADAs, wtf why would you use Windows when you need a reliable OS? Luckily Beckhoff is working on a BSD based TwinCAT IIRC, and on the SCADA side Ignition works on Linux
For me: Solidworks, TwinCAT (lol @ plc software built on top of windows…and it’s one of the more open ones)
