Israel’s complete blockade has passed seven weeks, and “people are running out of ways to cope,” the U.N. agency said. “The fragile gains made during the short ceasefire have unravelled.”
Why? Israel is completely blocking food assistance from getting in and has thoroughly destroyed any infrastructure for food production (or anything else, really.)
The even worse part is that they are also blocking medical supplies to the territory. They were hoping that USAID can fill the void if UNRWA stops working there, but with the recent cuts there, I am not sure if this is feasible. That’s what’s called collective punishment and is a flagrant breach of international humanitarian law, while in the US they are still providing them with weapons despite the Leahy law which they are in an obvious breach.

What’s difficult to grasp about that?

They probably find difficult to grasp how to pour water in a glass, no worries.
