It so happens my birthday is 4-20. But I never stole a mile marker for it. At least, not yet.
@georgetakei@universeodon.com You go Takei!
Get your sign
@georgetakei@universeodon.com I kind of hope the stoner subculture fades as weed is legalized in more places. There must be something else to be proud of.
@georgetakei@universeodon.com my birthday also. Oddly, I’ve never felt the slightest inclination to steal a sign just because it has those three digits.
@georgetakei@universeodon.com more like George TOKEi mirite
@georgetakei@universeodon.com There was a similar problem in Oregon with “This section of highway adopted by Ted Nugent and the American Bow Hunters’ Association.”
@georgetakei@universeodon.com Mine is 4-19. Watch out, 4-19 sign!
@gwagner@fediscience.org 😂
@georgetakei@universeodon.com
it’s good not to rush through your bucket list.
@georgetakei@universeodon.com
In Australia, the warning signs for kangaroos were stolen for a long time and sold worldwide. At some point, a sign manufacturer finally reacted and offered them himself.@georgetakei@universeodon.com When I lived in Iowa we had the same problem with people stealing the Mile 69 markers on I-380. But IowaDOT didn’t replace them with Mile 68.99 markers.
And we haven’t even touched on the U.S. 69 shields. A lot more states are going to have issues with people stealing I-69 shields once the extension of that interstate is complete.
@georgetakei@universeodon.com I’m coming to some a blunt with you this year on your birthday George. 💕😶🌫️😂✌️
@georgetakei@universeodon.com 🤔 It’s my birthday on 4.19 and I’ll be 99 this year…… (only kidding about being 99, 60 actually)
@georgetakei@universeodon.com that’s my birthday too! Never stole a road sign.
@georgetakei@universeodon.com
Why would someone want a Mile 420 sign?@georgetakei@universeodon.com
Watch out. That’s probably those fan boys of that terrible German guy from the last century …@georgetakei@universeodon.com I have the same date and also have never stolen a sign. Is this a sign? (sorry - cheap joke)
