Stand-up meetings, where everyone is in fact sitting down and it goes for almost an hour, a very crappy way to start the week.

Also this annoying brown-noser type person at my work took it upon themselves to run the meeting and they called me out on screen and asked me how my weekend was. I said it was fine and asked how theirs was, their response to my lack of information was “wow it’s like talking to a teenager”. Fuck off. If I don’t want to regail all of the staff about what I did on the weekend like you do, then that’s my decision to make.

“wow it’s like talking to a teenager”

completely unacceptable. Go to HR and your manager on it. Claim to be offended (Because they wont give a shit otherwise). You’re owed an apology and they need to learn they cant do it any more.

      Wow. Just wow.

I answer much like you to questions about how I am and stuff like that at work and I do get ribbed a bit that I’m never anything but fine but it’s all lighthearted and that they’d love to hear that I’m feeling wonderful one day but seriously that response is so unnecessary and ugly.

Me thinks you need to raise this with someone perhaps.

I hate this person for you. It’s none of their business and it’s actually a good idea not to discuss your personal life at work

passive agressive denigrating remarks in the workplace? mmm well that’s not conductive for a good working environment, I’d suggest having a chat with HR.
