    Wow, a plan with no possible drawbacks! Even in a world with perfect cybersecurity I love it when my car key battery runs out and I can’t get home.

      Y’know what I miss? Actual car keys. As in, you just stick it in and turn it.

      I hate these giant key fobs. I miss my old cars that had an actual key.

      A house key, a car key. Very little space in your pocket, never runs out of battery.

        All the fobs I’ve seen still have a physical key inside them for emergencies, I imagine some manufacturers are arrogant enough to have dropped that though.

        My car has a physical key. No immobiliser circuit either. Just a 2mm thick piece of metal which fits flat in a wallet. If I want a new key, it costs $20 and takes three minutes.
