“Fluck”
That’s what i was thinking lol
Is that a water station/rest stop half way up?
No, but it doesn’t take that long to climb. Plus there’s tons of shops at the base and some at the top as well.
Hmm, seems about 30 flights so a rough guess of about 15 stories high? That’s not too bad, assuming the thing doesn’t collapse.
It’s ~600 feet up…
That’s a far cry from 15 stories
The part in the picture? Those flights don’t look excessive but maybe the scale is messing with me? Or maybe there’s a lot more stairs further down?
have you been there? If so, super amazing. can we take a moment of appreciation for whoever built those stairs? I am in awe.
Yeah, I had the fortunate opportunity to visit thanks to a friend when I was on a work trip in Medellin, Colombia many years ago.
“Can I buy a mask here?”
“Sorry, you’ll have to go to the gift shop at the halfway point.”Wow did not expect to see Guatapé show up in my feed haha
when I saw this I thought it was 100% in china but you’re right it’s El Peñón de Guatapé in Columbia
They stitched up that rocks ass
