Well one of the worst incidents happened in the Long Room. It’s members of MCC only. So you can’t just get a bunch of football hooligans saying “Right, lads, let’s go the cricket today. To the Long Room!”.

Some people drink more than they can handle, and some people take sport way too seriously. Then there is the other lurking, unmentioned factor. Gambling. That’s gonna make people way more volatile when they have money on the line.
