    Nah, only the times when you make definitive statements about comment patterns and the overall quality and nature of the entire account.

    You know, the rare occasions where it’s actually what determines whether you have a point or are full of shit and doubling down to avoid having to just admit that the subtle difference between satire and stupidity eluded you 🤷

        Or some of the audience didn’t get the joke and doubled down on being right to, as was the case here.

        A lot of people thought that A Modest Proposal was sincere and as I mentioned to another of the wooshed complainers, people who didn’t get it share The Onion articles as if they were real news all the time.

        If satire is TOO obvious, it loses its edge. If it’s easy to be understood immediately by those actively wanting it to be sincere, it’s not good satire, so I guess you only like bad satire like Babylon Bee or whatever equivalent fits your politics better 🙄
