I hadn’t heard of her but reading her wikipedia page it seems she was pro-LGBTQ+ and anti white supremacy when she was governor, but unfortunately been reversed since she started to run for president. Probably to appease the hard conservatives. However much republican she is, she sounds way better than Trump tbh. Which is a low bar to reach of course.

Also whatever denomination, I think it would be good for America to have a female (and native indian) president for once. It shouldn’t be a job for geriatric white guys only.

The thing is, Project 2025 is something that has been signed onto broadly by the GOP, Heritage Foundation and their think tanks. Trump is bad, yes, but it doesn’t really matter which conservative gets in office they will implement the same fascist shit.

The GOP is a fascist party, there is no “moderate” wing unfortunately and we’ve reached the end of the rope in terms of being able to pretend that there is. They must never be compromised with for this reason, compromise with conservatives is what’s brought our democracy to the brink.

From Wikipedia: “[Haley] pledged, if elected, to again withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Agreement, revoke regulations restricting fossil fuel production and curtailing pollution from power plants and vehicles, and eliminate renewable energy subsidies. She criticized the Biden administration’s decision to allocate funds appropriated by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal to create a national electric vehicle charging network.”

The Earth can’t take another Republican administration.
