Aww! Just came home to find this hanging from my door handle. The other doors on my floor have the same.

I’m going out tomorrow night to see if I can find my “I have no family either” soul mate at a hole in the wall bar. Who knows right?

Day 70/70: Final day of week 10 weigh in:
Down a total of 8.1kg for the 10 weeks.
I was dropping roughly a kilo per week until the end of November, when there were too many parties breaking the diet. I only dropped 400g last week.

Most importantly, my running pace has improved. I managed my first 10km in under 50 minutes for the first time since my accident. More than dropping weight, this was the main purpose of the diet.

I’ll try not to go too crazy with the food over the next few days, I don’t want to put 8kg back on. 😃

Chores and shopping done. Hopefully now the only reason to go outside in the next week is to enjoy the sun and/or eat myself silly with others.

I stopped on the way to Anglesea at the Waurn Ponds plaza because I remembered they had a shirt I wanted in stock at their Target. Got a park 1 spot away from the entrance immediately. Bought 2 shirts without waiting in any lines. Walked right up to Donut King and got 2 cinnamon donuts, no line. Drove to Anglesea and got a park immediately in front of the shops.

Even got a free surprise chip!

    Today is going pretty well!

Hey is anyone old enough to remember when TVs had Teletext? I used to like fiddling around with it when we first got a tv with it ( I was about 10 or 12 maybe). There was a stock market page that was insanely busy.

I accidentally pressed the button and got stuck in teletext on an older TV the other week… buggered if I could figure my way back out of those options, but it’s still there.

I remember getting stuck too! I did something which made it split screen with Teletext and couldn’t fix it quickly enough for my parents liking, who were heightening my fumbling by shouting angrily 😂

I had to go to the shops (full shopping centre) and it surprisingly wasn’t as bad as I expected, but I am very happy I have decent noise cancelling headphones. While there’s kids melting down, people yelling at the underpaid security people, checkpoint alarms going off everywhere all I can hear is

    🎵Do you like pina coladas

And getting caught in the rain

    Are you not into yoga

Do you have half a brain🎵

My Deezer favourites playlist randomly served up Steeleye Span’s “Gaudete” and “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer” several times this week when I was on the road.

Yep, plugged one of those Bluetooth attachments into my ancient Volvo. Makes driving between jobs so much better.

Survived a social day. In reviewing today’s play I can only see 1 overreaction and maybe 2-3 oversharing moments.

No anxiety though which is amazing. And didn’t cause a scene (mind you, i generally tend to avoid those). Bloody exhausted though.

I was there 3000 years ago when the interwebs was just starting

and trolls were seen as trouble makers who would post to get people riled up and arguing . They thought it was fun and they liked to disrupt.

Now legacy newspapers and tv are trolls, posting bait to rile people up to get hits. They don’t even believe half the shit they post.

It’s not good enough, we deserve better.

    Choose your news sources carefully.

Just braved highpoint to grab a click and collect. That joint is chaos at the best of times. Stupidly grabbed a few more things and now I’ve got bulky items to carry home🤦🏻‍♀️ At least I bought myself a treat: The Body Shop vanilla eau de toilette and a white musk deodorant roll on. Love those two fragrances and haven’t bought anything from body shop for myself for about 30 years. I will wrap them and put under the tree as gift to myself.

Psa. If you are having trouble with log ins and replies and such it’s not you it’s technical stuff going on. Don’t make me explain in more detail because I couldn’t possibly. Details are on the home page.
