Theres a reason the dog post got so much traction on linkedin.
Anyone out of the loop the dog pist says:
“Yesterday I was walking to an interview. There was a starving dog on the road. I stopped to feed him & missed the interview. The next day I got a call asking to come in to do the interview. I was surprised, but I went. Then the interviewer came in. He was the dog.”
I feel I’m out of the loop with the linked in part

xD That’s hilarious
Yeah, now imagine every linkedin influencer posting functionally identical nonsense but playing it straight and acting like its inspirational.
Oh man what a great way to end a day on the internet. Thank you and good night.
People on LinkedIn always post some BS motivational crap like “look at this tree, it never gave up! Take inspiration from it!”. Very annoying
Ah, that makes sense, I think I misunderstood the hell part as meaning something bad for the tree instead. Thanks for the prompt explanation!
Yeah, that place is chock full of bootstraps - grind culture “inspirational” bull shit.
Linked In is “professional” social media and a hotbed for bootstraps propaganda and other pro-capitalist gaslighting.
It’s a metaphor for getting back up after you fall down, which is the kind of shit people who actually use LinkedIn as a social media eat up.
That makes sense! Thanks for the clarification!
The picture will be posted together with some vomit inducing inspirational quote from some “Life-Coach” or middle manager on LinkedIn
