Like that’s a problem with just Britain?

Anyway, the somewhat recent history is that Labour fucked up, Conservatives met voters in the middle. Then brexit dominated political discussions, a topic that transcends classes and was a vote swinging issue for a lot of people.

Meanwhile, Labour was floundering throughout, while conservatives amped up the anti eu/immigration talking points.

That’s a real brief overview that glosses over so much, but another point to make is that people didn’t vote for Rishi Sunak, his own party didn’t even vote for him initially.

I don’t think anybody’s actually been happy with the politicians/PMs we’ve had recently. Only Boris and Corbin had cult followings, but most people weren’t really happy with them either.

Labor could run a rotting horse penis mounted to a piece of dull slate and it would still represent a more ideologically defensible position than anything the most reasonable Tory has uttered for going on 70 years.

I mean come on. It’s not like they even make an effort to hide their terrible ideas.

If Labour run anything more left leaning than a rotting horse penis (see Jeremy Corbyn), they will be destroyed by the press and establishment by any means necessary.

Hence the usual choice being akin to Rotting Horse Penis vs Pig Fucker.

I would not say that it is not unique to Britain. However, this dude is polling at -49. That is quite incredible.
