I see German and French posts everyday.
I do too, as well as Dutch, Australian and New Zealand
Had to block all the Dutch and German communities/domains I could find. Not out of spite and I still feel bad about it, but just so one thing in my feed would be in a language I speak.
And…for some reason, OP doesn’t think there are enough Chinese and Russians on Lemmy?
I see plenty of European usernames on Lemmy.world. Most of them speak English because local communities are usually on localised Lemmy servers.
Pretty funny to think .world is too American considering it’s an EU based server.
I have sumerian username but I’m European. I speak American and European fluently.
You are not right and this is s toxic assumption.
