I got a new laptop which I almost always use plugged in. Then when i put it to sleep or shut it off I also leave it plugged in. Is this bad for the battery? Sometimes I unplug the laptop when I’m done with it to let the battery drain a little. When I go back to use it I always plug it back in because I hate the decrease in performance when it’s unplugged. Is there anything I should be doing different to make sure I’m not damaging the battery? Is having it always at 100% bad for modern batteries?
